| Ehlenberger's
sculpture has been strongly influenced by his appreciation for the sculpture
of the Constructivist art movement of the early 1900's. Popularized by
sculptors such as Naum Gabo and Vladmir Tatlin, Constructivist sculpture
is characterized by its focus on geometric shapes with simple curves and
linearity. It is generally abstract with an industrial quality and often
incorporates industrial materials such as metal, wood, and glass.
