Swamp Flower neon tubes are blown to go inside a blown glass Swamp
Flower element. As such, the lower part of the tube that illuminates
the glass from within is generally straight or slightly curved and
usually one color, striped or solid. The upper part of the tube that
emanates from the glass component of the Swamp Flower is usually clear
heavy-walled glass, hand colored with phosphors and usually filled
with neon gas or a combination of neon gas and mercury vapors. Depending
on the height of the Swamp Flower, the neon units range from 12"-36"
in height.
